These paintings begin as color on canvas to which shapes of Asian papers or perhaps found objects such as driftwood are then applied and then more paint -  to create a world  for the viewer to enter.

So many of these paintings were inspired by the beauty of the sky and the lushness of the earth, an exploration in reverence.
